Day Spring Diocese

Little chapel in the woods
Stands alone where trees have stood
A silent place to search one’s soul
Stain glass miracles unfold
Spanish moss hangs like lace
Fragile leaves dance in their space
Luminous clouds paint the sky
Await the golden globe to rise

Sun rising over the horizon
Brilliant star glistening
Flickering as clouds pass by
Heaven’s natural wonders
Tranquil scene serene
Birds chirp a welcoming cry
Whistling a tune to live by
Little chapel in the woods
End of the world, a place of grace
