Flowers and sunsets are my inspiration. I never tire of the beauty and variety of these two subjects. The delicate beauty of a flower draws me in and the powerful feeling I get from sunsets keeps me going. Therefore, it was inevitable for me to become a botanical artist and a student of sunsets.

My favorite medium is pencil because I like the way it feels on paper. I also enjoy pen and ink, watercolor and colored pencil.
