2027 WCA Exhibition News
2027 Annual WCA Exhibition Key Dates are Below:
The first member show will take place from Jan 5, 2027 – Feb 5, 2027
at the Herrig Center for the Arts in Bradenton, Florida.
Some important dates:
Registration will be open from Nov 1, 2026 to Dec 15, 2026 in Jotform
Photos will be required for all submissions
Since the size of the exhibit space is smaller than previous years, each member will be
allowed only 1 entry.
The intake will be from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm on Jan 2, 2027
Opening Reception will be 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Jan 7, 2027
Pickup will be from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm on Feb, 6, 2027
The prospectus will be available in the Oct 1, 2027 newsletter and on the website.

Our second show will be Aug 16-27, 2027 at the Arts Center Sarasota.

2026 Exhibit Award Recipients
Skylar Smith, Art History Professor from Ringling College, was our judge this year. Her overall impression of the show was
“This was the best community art show I have been to in Sarasota. From the use of diverse media to its wide-ranging
subject matter, the show is a real demonstration of the talents of the members of the WCA.”
1st place: Immigrant by Lori Loveberry George – a mixed media piece
2nd place: Florida Feelings by Barbara Boeck – a textile fiber piece
3rd place: Imogene Has a Bone to Pick by Pat Pettit – a mixed media 3D
