Margaret Swedzikowski

My lifelong experience is that of an artist at heart. I found my way back to my childhood love of drawing and painting following a pursuit of various professional careers, both technical and creative. Throughout my life, l have increasingly felt myself pulled more and more toward fine art expression, experimenting and expanding my creative horizons.

As an artist, I work in a wide array of mediums, styles and techniques utilizing oils, watercolors, alcohol inks, and mostly acrylics infused with textures and mixed media. Inspiration comes in the often unexpected colors and patterns in nature and the world around me. While I occasionally dip into more realistic interpretations of landscapes, botanicals and beloved pets, my most recent focus lies in the introspective aspect of abstract composition. I love to be led by the medium and allow my spontaneous feelings to guide the creative moment.
