I am dreamer and visionary, striving to make the world a better place through artistic creation, service and mentoring.
For over 34 years, my focus was serving children who had experienced abuse and/or neglect, and their families. July of 2022, I retired, however I continue to serve the community and strive to improve our world.
Eliciting joy and evoking emotions in others through photography and art is important. I have formal training in various modes of creating, fine art with a focus on sculpting was my minor in college; and I have continued lifelong artistic learning since that time. My love of nature, music, people and animals is transparent in chosen subject matter. I am drawn toward emotions, strong movements, powerful imagery and balance.
I focus on the simplistic beauty of the shapes, colors and composition found in nature. I love the pure realistic imagery in photographs and other media used. I also play with the intensity of emotions a digitally modified work can evoke and push myself to evolve and experiment in looser and more abstract works.
Staying in tune with ‘positive’ expression of emotions is a lifelong quest for me. I am focused on all of the wonderment and awe in the world that make my soul shine. I look forward to sharing my interpretation of the world around us with you.
