Betty Greenspan
After experimenting with different art forms over the years, be it photography, pottery, Gyotaku, Ikebana, paper making or collage, I’ve discovered that my real passion is photography.
My inspiration comes from nature and while I’m photographing wildlife, plants, flowers and water I find that I’m in my zone. My sensitivity to composition and the energy from color, shape, texture and form, expands my vision of what I am trying to create with my photography and the story I want to tell.
I’m constantly expanding the boundaries of my work with a focus on the abstract and even surrealism at times. A lifelong learner, I continue to study the many complex sides of the art as I gain insight from the masters in my field.
