Nancy Turner

Nancy Turner is an artist who derives inspiration for her work from other artists including Franz Kline, Joan Mitchell, and Amy Sillman. She uses her art to convey information about issues that are important to her. Her paintings express the emotional anxiety she felt during the Trump years: confusion, frustration, rage and fear for our future and for the future of our children, our country and our planet. She submits to the viewer her images of “Anxiety,” mixed medium paintings, with the hope that the viewer will understand her state of mind.
