My use of color and texture has become an integral part of my signature style. It is my goal to take the viewer from how they usually see the world to one in which color can infuse new energy into the ordinary and elevate mood. It is a world where vibrant, bold and energetic art can emerge simply from a daily practice of taking a brush, paper and glue to canvas. The relationship between artistic elements and mood has always been a driver for my colorful and positive imagery. I employ a creative process that combines the logic of piecing together collage materials with the freedom of intuition as a guide. The application of paper, paint and other mediums allows me to achieve a textural and tactile experience, with color serving as a catalyst for the viewer to share in an expression of joy and happiness. It is my firm belief that art can help us process the world around us and that color and thematic choices can impact mood and our sense of well-being.
